Thor: Ragnarok is super hilarious, super entertaining and arguably is the best Marvel movie I’ve seen in a couple of years. You won’t get bored while watching this movie, with the comedy similar to that of Guardians of the Galaxy. Some dull points of the movie, however, are the cinematography, antagonists and the action scenes. Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), and of course, Chris Hemsworth (Thor) were fantastic and worked really well together in terms of their chemistry in the movie. Other great performances from the movie are from Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), who was definitely one of the funniest people to watch, and Taika Waititi, who did an excellent job at directing as well as playing the monster Korg. Cate Blanchett (Hela) was a very entertaining villain, and her character didn’t try too hard to seem threatening. Overall, the comedy aspect of this movie was on point throughout. One of my favorite scenes from the movie was the gladiator fight, which I felt was really important to the characters. Also, you don’t need to watch the previous Thor movies to enjoy this one, as Thor: Ragnarok stands on its own. If you’re a fan of MCU movies but don’t like movies that are way too serious, I would highly recommend Thor: Ragnarok as it’s extremely funny as well as action-packed. I would give this movie 4 and ½ stars.
